Breathwork Practitioner Training
May-Sep-Feb 2026-2027
About the Program
This Breathwork Training Level 1 offers a grounded introduction to Conscious Connected Breathwork, also known as Rebirthing Breathwork. Rooted in embodiment, nervous system awareness, and personal transformation, this training supports both personal healing and the foundations of facilitation.
What is Breathwork?
Breathwork is an embodied practice of conscious, connected breathing — a gentle weaving of inhale and exhale without pause. Often referred to as Rebirthing Breathwork or Conscious Connected Breathwork, this nose-based, parasympathetic rhythm invites the body to soften, the nervous system to settle, and the subtle energies of mind, body, and spirit to awaken.
This is not simply a breathing technique — it is a return to your own life force. Through the breath, we access deeper layers of being, release what no longer serves, and reconnect with the currents of our emotional, ancestral, and spiritual lineage.
Founded by Leonard Orr in the 1970s, Rebirthing Breathwork works with the breath as a pathway back to our first breath. It allows us to revisit early life and childhood experiences from a more resourced, spacious perspective — creating opportunities for insight, release, and healing. By engaging our life force directly, blocked energy and held trauma can gently move and unwind.
“Feelings come and go like clouds in a windy sky. Conscious breathing is my anchor.”
-Thich Nhat Hanh
Why Breathwork?
Releasing What the Body Has Been Carrying
Breathwork can gently unlock stored emotional trauma, early life imprints, or birth experiences, allowing fear, grief, anger, or shame to move and release. This creates space for healing, integration, and renewed vitality.
Returning the Nervous System to Its Natural Rhythm
By intentionally slowing and deepening the breath, the body is invited back into its natural rest-and-digest state. This supports nervous system regulation, reduces anxiety, improves sleep, and restores a felt sense of safety and balance.
Awakening Awareness and Inner Knowing
Breathwork helps clear energetic and mental stagnation, opening space for clarity, focus, and creativity. It supports noticing old patterns and beliefs, offering the opportunity to respond with awareness rather than react from habit.
Remembering Our Belonging and Wholeness
Breathwork can open pathways to inner wisdom, intuition, and a deeper sense of belonging — to self, to the living Earth, to ancestral roots, and to the greater web of life.
A Practice That Walks With You Through Life
Once learned, conscious connected breathing becomes a practice you can return to again and again — a steady companion for grounding, healing, self-regulation, and embodied living.
Through continued practice, breathwork offers a wide and supportive tapestry of benefits:
